This role is classified as Commercial Level 6 under SBS Australia's current Enterprise Agreement.
The successful candidate would be remunerated against their relevant skills and experience and in alignment with this framework.
The Role As the Social Media Strategy Manager, you'll: drive strategy by developing long-term social media platform strategies aligned with SBS's bold vision and unique brand foster innovation by leading cross-platform strategies, exploring emerging technologies, and keeping SBS at the cutting edge of social media innovation; lead and inspire by mentoring a high-performing team, designing efficient operational frameworks, and promoting a culture of collaboration, innovation, and well-being; leverage data by implementing robust analytics to track performance, uncover trends, and inform key decisions across the organisation; and collaborate and influence by working closely with stakeholders and platform partners to deliver initiatives that elevate SBS's social presence and audience engagement.
About You We're looking for a leader with at least 7 years of experience in social media management, with proven success across multiple platforms.
You'll have a track record of developing and implementing innovative social strategies in a leadership role, expertise in social media analytics, data visualisation, and tools like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Sprout Social, and Tableau, strong skills in strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership, and a passion for inspiring audiences, embracing diversity, and driving meaningful cultural storytelling.
