Follow the link to find out what its like to live, work and play in our wonderful region: Greater Shepparton: Great Things Happen Here About the Role: GV Health are seeking a Grade 3 Senior Social Worker or Psychologist to join the Chronic Pain Clinic on a part time basis.
This is a continuously developing service for the region with a focus on the assessment, care planning and management of people experiencing chronic pain.
The role will collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team playing a key role in leading service planning and development and quality activities.
Team members include a medical specialist, nursing coordinator, social worker, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, exercise physiologist, dietitian, enrolled nurse and allied health assistant.
The Senior Social Worker or Psychologist is responsible for providing their advanced clinical expertise to Chronic Pain Clinic (CPC) clients and to the multidisciplinary team.
Specifically, the CPC Senior will assess, plan, recommend and apply current, individualised and evidence-based interventions and supports for clients with complex, chronic pain.
The delivery of which will occur in the setting of one-on-one client consultations in the clinic, as well as in the facilitation of group programs.
