Join us in making a difference!THE ROLEThe role of the Physiotherapist within Amana Living includes, but is not limited to, a range of physiotherapy assessments & restorative and reablement interventions and equipment prescription, for seniors in their homes as well as group activities within the community.This role will be working 8:30am - 4:30pm, Monday to Friday driving to clients' homes throughout the day supporting our clients within our Southern Suburbs. This position includes a Company Car, flexible workplace, with the ability to work from home.Key responsibilitiesConduct comprehensive assessments that identify the client's functional capacity, strengths and lifestyle goalsProviding recommendations for client care based on assessment outcomes and prepare reportsProvide individualized therapy services, including mobility equipment prescription, enabling older people to maintain functional capacity, prevent deterioration, maximise quality of life and to re-engage with community activitiesRegularly review and evaluate client therapy plans to ensure identified goals are achieved and quality of life and healthy ageing promotedEnsure all documentation is timely, accurate and maintained and actioned in accordance with the Amana Living Clinical Governance Framework, organisational policies and procedures and confidentiality agreementProvide general advice and recommendations relating to equipmentAttend and actively participate in family and staff meetings and mandatory training sessionsEvidence of COVID-19 and Current 2024 Flu vaccinations per Amana Living policiesAbility to obtain a National Police Clearance (within 6-months validity)Successful completion of pre-employment physical and reference checksBachelor of Science (Physiotherapy) degreeCurrent registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)Experience within Aged CareHow to applyIf you are interested in this role and meet the essential criteria, please click the "apply now" button.
