About the Role Formed in 1882, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH) is a major metropolitan tertiary referral hospital and a principal provider of specialist healthcare.It remains one of the nation's most respected hospitals, with a distinguished history serving the health needs of local, statewide, national and international communities. The Registered Midwife is responsible for the provision of woman-centred, evidence-based midwifery care that promotes identified health outcomes.The Registered Midwife will assess, plan, implement and evaluate midwifery care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team. For more information, please view the Position Description. Ideal Candidate Current midwifery registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA). Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills within a multidisciplinary team. Able to work a 7 day rotating roster.
