Site Engineer - Pavement Improvement Projects
Take the lead in driving seamless coordination and successful delivery of high-impact maintenance activities and innovative minor projects. Be at the forefront of transforming Sydney's roads while making a lasting impact on the infrastructure that keeps the city moving.
Key Accountabilities:
* Efficiently manage specific tactical maintenance tasks and project initiatives.
* Lead the project management process from development through to delivery, ensuring environmental approvals, design, utilities management, and construction phases are effectively executed.
* Take full responsibility for the delivery of projects within the agreed time, budget, and quality standards.
* Champion continuous improvement and innovation within the team and project scope.
* Foster a collaborative environment and promote stewardship principles across all project activities.
* Undertake any additional duties as required, within the defined scope of practice.
* Assess and manage subcontractors and internal teams to ensure optimal performance.
* Ensure effective project control and maintain high standards of reporting across all phases.
* Maintain accuracy and timeliness in forecasting, cost reporting, and resource allocation to meet project objectives while optimizing costs.
* Report daily site activities in accordance with SRAPC standards, as directed.
About You:
* A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
* Proficient in programming and planning with strong attention to detail.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
* Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
* Proven experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams.
* Intermediate to advanced computer literacy.
* Hold a valid driver's license.
* Hold a White Card.
