The Opportunity Boeing Defence Australia is one of the largest Defence contractors to the Australian government. We are seeking an energetic and talented Project Officer to support our Project Management Team in the delivery of multi-disciplinary projects at our Darwin site. As part of a high performing team, you will apply your skills and experience in managing subcontractors and project work sites. You will be making a meaningful contribution in supporting the capabilities of our National Security Community customer, the Australian Signals Directorate - ASD Responsibilities: Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers, suppliers and other stakeholders. Oversee the work of subcontractors and others to provide project deliverables and comply with site security and safety requirements. Assist to identify suppliers and to coordinate and oversee supplier activities. Support the Projects Team to identify, scope and execute projects. Perform ICT Installations and configuration management to support projects. Experience/Qualifications Technical or trade qualification in Electrical / Electronics / ICT fields Experience performing ICT Installations including fibre-optics, structural and coax cabling. High level communication and negotiation skills with a strong focus on building successful relationships with a broad range of stakeholders. Project management qualifications and/or experience desirable but not essential. Experience using AutoCAD, Visio or Cablesolve. (advantageous) Construction work site management or supervision experience. (advantageous) Desirable certifications and licenses: ACMA cabling registration, low voltage rescue, forklift license, elevated work platform license, confined space, construction induction (white card) and current NT Driver's License. Security Clearance Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Australian Government security requirements. You will be required to successfully undergo an Australian Government positive vetting (PV) security clearance. You MUST be willing to disclose all required information and MUST have the ability to verify your background for whole of life (i.e. birth to present time).
