At Tailem Bend Hospital, we’re seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant in Nursing (AIN) to join our supportive environment, where every team member plays a key role in delivering exceptional care.
As an AIN, you’ll work closely with Enrolled and Registered Nurses/Midwives to assist in a variety of patient care tasks. Your role will include supporting patients with activities of daily living, providing person-centred care, and performing essential routine duties such as setting up for nursing procedures, cleaning equipment, and managing stock levels. You will contribute to a positive patient experience, ensuring high-quality care is always delivered.
Essential Criteria
Enrolled in an undergraduate nursing or midwifery program (e.g., 3rd year) OR undertaking a course to become an Enrolled NurseAlternatively, hold a Certificate III or IV in a relevant healthcare discipline such as Basic Health Care, Aged Care, or Individual Support Work
Experience in nursing/midwifery care within the scope of your education, adhering to professional standards of practice
