Fire and Safety Australia is seeking EOI for an experienced ESO for an ongoing role in the oil and gas sector located in South Australia. This is a 2:2 roster FIFO from Adelaide or Brisbane.
About the Role:
EOI for an experienced ESO on a 2:2 roster, ongoing position. This role can be FIFO from Adelaide or Brisbane.
Qualifications:
1. Cert III Emergency Response and Rescue / Cert III Public Safety (Firefighting Operations)
2. Road Crash Rescue / HAZMAT / Open Circuit Breathing Apparatus / Aviation firefighting
3. Vertical / Confined Space rescue
Desired Qualifications:
1. NAFS III – Extinguishing agent handling licence
2. Inspection and servicing of fire extinguishers and panels
3. Inspection, calibration and servicing of gas detection equipment
4. Servicing of onsite breathing apparatus and respirators
Required Experience:
1. Proven significant operational experience within the fire and rescue industry, preferably within a resource sector
2. Proven operational expertise in industrial fire, rescue and emergency operational concepts, procedures and systems
3. Proven operational Aviation firefighting experience
4. Highly disciplined with exceptional communication and organisational skills
5. Proven high-risk experience; including rescue planning, gas testing, permit issuer/user
6. Delivery and assessment of training to personnel filling part-time emergency response roles
