You'll be at the forefront of our data strategy. You’ll be responsible for building and maintaining reports, dashboards, and analytics that help guide our business toward success. Your expertise will ensure seamless data integration, from mapping and consolidation to disaster recovery and documentation.Sounds great!? Tell me about the role.Dive into Big Data to create impactful analytics, dashboards, and reports that fuel decision-making.Support the team with data engineering and work with Cognos, Power BI, and Phocas to design, create, and maintain insightful reports.Own database management—from performance tuning and security to troubleshooting and optimization.Collaborate with ERP, BI, and Architecture teams to ensure smooth data flows across systems and provide strategic guidance on data warehousing, lakes, and repositories.Help define and maintain database standards, ensuring consistency, security, and performance across all systems.Lead the way in ETL processes, data mapping, and metadata design, while ensuring all data is ready for business consumption.Stay ahead of emerging database technologies, ensuring we’re always leveraging the best tools for success.Work closely with stakeholders at all levels to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.You’re Likely a Match If you haveA degree or diploma in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, IT, or a related field (Master’s or PhD is a bonus!).3-5+ years of experience in Data Analytics and Modelling, Data Engineering, and Reporting.Strong technical experience with SQL, SSIS, SSAS, Cognos, Power BI, Azure, Python, and Tableau.Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, dimensional modelling, and data architecture.A strong background in database optimization, data mapping, security, and compliance.Experience with Informix, Pronto, Azure data services, and airflow is highly advantageous.Ability to work well with internal and external stakeholders to understand and meet reporting requirements.Knowledge of AI/ML and dashboard development is a plus!About usFor 30 years, Total Tools has operated as the ultimate tool shop, delivering the right tools and advice for our customers.
