Job Description
We are currently seeking to hire an experienced Program Director who will join our Mid-Market Advisory team in Sydney.
Only applicants with experience managing and implementing TechnologyOne will be considered.
The Opportunity
As the Program Director you will be responsible for planning, managing and leading large scale business transformation programs. You will set the purpose and direction of the program and will support various workstream leads, project managers and system integrators in the execution of their respective plans, roles and responsibilities. Working closely with the KPMG and client teams you will be responsible for establishing the program management structures during mobilisation and managing programs to agreed delivery obligations of schedule, budget, scope, quality and risk. You will safeguard the linkages between the delivery of the program and the outcomes it will deliver. Under the direction of a Partner you will be responsible for:
* Developing the Program Management Plan outlining the key constructs and approaches for program management;
* Establishing and managing program governance structures, forums and reporting lines;
* Developing the integrated master schedule and developing the program resource plan. Managing the overall program schedule and resource plans and monitoring project level progress, resource plan and schedules;
* Driving financial management and budget tracking;
* Managing the delivery work of system integrators to agreed delivery obligations;
* Providing strategic support to workstream leads and project managers in the management of their projects and the interdependencies between projects;
* Leading the management of complex risks and issues, especially those that include interdependencies across projects;
* Supporting change management and leadership engagement, ensuring connection across the program and broader organisation;
* Acting as a key point of contact and reporting to the client Executive Leadership Team and acts as the point of escalation for projects to the wider program
* Providing guidance and support to team members under your direction to support their professional development;
Your Experience
This role will call for highly developed program leadership and client facing consulting skills, a strong focus on delivering high quality outcomes and a solid understanding of program management disciplines and frameworks. To be considered for this opportunity, your qualifications, skills and demonstrable experience could include:
* Proven experience implementing TechnologyOne is essential
* A proven track record in technology and business transformation program management and or directorship;
* Strong leadership and problem-solving skills;
* A passion for working with mid-market clients and experience working across a range of industries including but not limited to; Local Government, Higher Education and Energy and Utilities;
* Experience managing the implementation of proven technology solutions in the mid-market.
* Experience in coaching and mentoring;
* Strong stakeholder management capabilities;
* Advanced written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
Qualifications
* Experience and accreditation in program management frameworks and methodologies;
