Full time$100,000 – $110,000 per year plus housingNgadju Native Title Aboriginal Corporation RNTBC (NNTAC) is the Prescribed Body Corporate (PBC) for the Ngadju People of the Goldfields Region of Western Australia. The Ngadju Native Title determination is one of the largest in Australia.Ngadju country centers around Norseman and stretches as far north as Kambalda, south to Esperance and east to near Balladonia.The Ranger Program is focused on delivering Country restoration and management work - healing Country guides our program. The Ranger Program embeds Ngadju Country management principles and practices in Natural Resource Management (NRM). We work with an array of different clients including State Government agencies, water corporations, LGAs, non-profits and the private sector. Importantly, our Ranger Program includes a path for First Nations people to develop careers in environmental management.Key ResponsibilitiesDeveloping and delivering the Ngadju Ranger ProgramManage and lead a team of project and administrative support staff, ensuring high quality project management and delivery, including oversight of team schedulingWork closely with the Land Access Manager and the Ranger Program Coordinator to ensure the Ranger Program is appropriately equipped to deliver the program of worksActively work to secure additional contracts with a variety of stakeholdersIdentify and implement opportunities for career and professional and personal development for individual Rangers and the program as a wholeAlongside the Rangers, lead the design and development of project and landscape plansAbout YouDrivers licenceQualifications in NRM, Environmental Science, Land management & Conservation, or demonstrable industry experience3+ years experience in a similar roleExperience working with or for First Nations organisations is highly desirableSound project management experience including project reporting, acquittals, and budgetary managementDemonstrated experience in supporting staff development and teamsDemonstrated experience in oversight of OHS matters*Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants are strongly encouraged to apply*Applications and interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis.
