Job Description You will be a member of the Symbio Global Infrastructure department, and involved in delivering the systems, platforms, & infrastructure that underpin Symbio’s products globally. As a System Engineer in the Core Systems team, you will work on hardware & software lifecycle projects ensuring we maintain the security & quality of our infrastructure and the customer facing products that it supports. Help us modernize our tech stack by as we develop & rollout new feature & capabilities, and as we improve efficiency, consistency, & quality through improvements to infrastructure automation, observability, and our infrastructure operations processes. Once onboarded, this role is expected to participate in the team’s after-hours support roster, which operates on a rotating schedule every 4 to 6 weeks. Qualifications 3 years experience in a systems or infrastructure engineering role in a Telco/ISP/Enterprise A good understanding of Linux (RedHat family) Systems (Windows a desirable bonus) Experience with VMware and/or KVM based hypervisors Experience with automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform Exposure to CI/CD tools, pipelines and version control such as Gitlab Some skills in coding or scripting, esp. Python, highly desirable Exposure to the public cloud, esp.
