In particular JAS Oceania is a major national wholesaler of Automotive Rotating Electrical, Air-Conditioning, Accessories and Lighting products, focusing on servicing the Auto Electrical sector.Position Purpose:The purpose of the sales/store person is to efficiently take branch sales phone calls & take control of the branch stores area; maintaining a clean, tidy & safe environment. The role also includes assisting customers in the branch and helping Account Managers to maximize branch sales.Key Accountabilities:Respond to branch phone callsAssist customers with in-branch salesProcess invoices and creditsReceive and despatch goods & consign freight in a timely mannerUndertake stock countsMaintain goods, pallet racking and shelving in correct sequence & locationReport incorrect stock levels to relevant individualsHealth and Safety:Role model a culture of zero harm through effective risk management and consultation with your team regarding all health and safety matters.Ensure your safety and the safety of those around you by complying with all safe work practices, policies, procedures and instructions.Maintain safe working practices that contribute to an accident and injury free working environmentMaintain a clean and safe working environment attending monthly toolbox and safety meetings.About You:Experience in Automotive Electrical or MechanicalPreferred Warehousing experienceCurrent Driver's LicenseBapcor embraces diversity, equity, and inclusion as integral components of our organisational culture.
