About the team
The Psychology Department is progressive and supportive of staff, providing great opportunities for knowledge and skill development through supervision and a professional development program for all psychology staff.
What you’ll be doing
In this role, you will deliver expert psychological assessment and treatment, psychoeducation and support to patients and families/carers of The Alfred Cancer Service. You will work closely with the other psychology and allied health staff of the cancer and integrative oncology services, and participate in department activities including professional development, quality improvement, and research. The role is focused on working with outpatients but some inpatient work may be required.
About you
* Master or doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or Clinical Health Psychology
* Registration and endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist/Clinical Health Psychologist under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (Victoria) Act 2009
* 5 years’ experience working as a psychologist
* Approved PBA Supervisor
* Full Covid-19 and 2024 Influenza vaccination
* Australian working rights and be willing to undergo a Background Check
