They also provide wholesale distribution of industrial concrete supplies to trade stores throughout Australia. With ongoing growth in their business, they are seeking a full-time Internal Sales Representative to support their business development and account management team. The Position… Reporting directly to the Internal Sales BDM team, the main responsibilities/tasks of this role will include: Performing sales and administrative tasks to support the Sales functions within the company. This will include, but is not limited to: account maintenance, data entry, developing quotations, client follow-up as required, appointment setting, completing vendor forms, emailing of production information & specifications as required. Undertaking market research – looking for new sales opportunities and additional markets to break into. Maintaining and building relationships with new and existing clients on behalf of the BDM’s and the company. Answering incoming inquiries, phone overflow & providing trade counter sales back-up as required. The Ideal Candidate… The ideal candidate will have the following attributes: A keen attitude for building customer relationships and ensuring customers’ needs are met. Previous experience in the construction industry would be an advantage. Past customer service experience. Strong data entry skills & confidence with IT systems (e.g. CRM) to navigate & update databases efficiently. High attention to detail. Excellent analytical skills. Be personable and have well-developed communication skills (both oral & written). Exceptional phone manner, ability to build rapport with clients, and strong interpersonal skills. Have a positive can-do attitude, a strong work ethic, and enjoy working within a team setting. Quick learner and willingness to assist the team with whatever tasks are given.
