Job Description
We are looking for an Operations Supervisor at Ruvidini Inland Port to join our Geraldton Port team on a permanent basis working a 7 Days On, 7 Off, 7 Nights On, 7 Off Roster. The role involves overseeing daily operational activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, maintaining the facility to operational standards, and management of the accommodation camp. The role is located in Mullewa, WA and will be DIDO from Geraldton in a company vehicle each 12-hour shift.
Key Duties & Responsibilities of this role:
* Manage and oversee day-to-day operations of the inland port, including scheduling and coordination of in-loading and out-loading of product.
* Supervise loading/unloading activities, ensuring efficiency and compliance with procedures.
* Ensure optimal stockpiling and storage practices are maintained to support seamless logistics operations.
* Ensure site safety and compliance for all site activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
* Oversee the maintenance and operational efficiency of site facilities, including infrastructure, equipment, accommodation camp and utilities.
* Provide leadership and guidance to site personnel, fostering a productive and safety-conscious work environment.
* Act as a key point of contact for contractors, suppliers, and external stakeholders (neighbouring farmers, local shire and customers).
