This role is crucial in designing, developing, and optimizing our production processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety. There are multiple positions available in a tiered hierarchy. Your Impact: As a pivotal part of our operations team, you will: Lead and Manage the Process engineering team, providing guidance and support to align with company goals (Lead position only)Innovate and refine production processes to optimize workflow, value stream mapping, increase efficiency, and reduce costs.Create and manage a list of process equipment and tooling, collaborating with external suppliers to ensure cost-effective solutions.Assist in defining equipment and tooling requirements, ensuring alignment with production goals and standards.Support capacity planning initiatives, forecasting needs, and optimizing production capacity.Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including PFMEA, Work Instructions, and Standard Work procedures, to ensure consistency and compliance.Lead initiatives to identify and implement process improvements, driving lean manufacturing principles and enhancing overall productivity.Coordinate packaging requirements and logistics planning for both suppliers and customers, ensuring quality and consistency throughout the supply chain.Ensure that process tooling and equipment suppliers comply with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards, maintaining safety standards throughout the supply chain.Coordinate the execution of preventive maintenance programs, ensuring the longevity and reliability of equipment.Who You Are: The ideal candidates will possess:A degree in Engineering or a related field.Proven experience in process engineering, particularly in designing and developing production processes.Knowledge of PFMEA, Work Instructions, and Standard Work procedures.Experience with continuous improvement methodologies and lean manufacturing principles.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with internal teams and external suppliers.Familiarity with OHS standards and their application to tooling and equipment suppliers.Ability to manage and coordinate multiple tasks effectively.Experience in Automotive production is advantageous.
