About us:Capricornia Offender Health Service (COHS) is responsible for the delivery of health service to Prisoners in the Capricornia Correctional Centre (CCC) and Capricornia Correctional Farm (CCF) including workcamps. COHS provides a health service to a fluctuating population of approximately 1030 male Prisoners within CCC and CCF.The needs of this client group vary widely and the COHS requires a flexible system that responds to urgent/non-urgent, complex, planned chronic care and preventative health needs. Prisoners can access appropriate primary care and emergency care equivalent to standard of that of the general community.About the role:The Administration Officer is required to work within and support a team that provides quality administrative support services within the COHS. The role is required to work across both services of COHS, the main health centre and the health and wellbeing team by providing administrative functions to support clinical staff through scheduling of clinics, records management, referral and appointment coordination, and ordering of clinical and non-clinical supplies. This service includes the coordination of health information, data reporting and use of health technology.
