Lady Gowrie Tasmania is a not-for-profit community-based organisation providing Education and Care to children from birth to 12 years of age. The role Part Time, 4 days per week, 8 hours per day (Mon/Tues/Wed/Fri) Pedder, Launceston What will you receive? Work closely in a supportive team environment with Educators, Educational Leaders & Service Manager. The role you'll play Work closely with our educators and develop programs tailored to meet the individual needs of each child. Deep dive into projects to scaffold children's learning Contribute, research & have direct input into a services Quality Improvement Plan Be proactive in ensuring currency in best early childhood practice. Using storytelling, drama, music and discussion to develop language and vocabulary. Ensure compliance as a mandated reporter in accordance with the services Child Protection policy and procedures. Identifying and responding to children at risk Assess, provide feedback & report on children's learning Promote positive, comforting, and nurturing relationships with children. Skills and experience Early Childhood Teaching Degree or equivalent Tasmanian Registration of Working with Vulnerable People (Employee) or ability to obtain A recent Police Check A sound understanding and knowledge of the National Quality Framework Ability to lead and work collaboratively and cooperatively in a team environment If this sounds like the role for you, apply now with your Cover Letter and CV.
