Role: Sales & Commercial Manager – Well Construction Location: Perth WA Type of contract: Permanent Roster: Full Time Job Description: The Sales and Commercial Manager is responsible for leading the sales team, developing and implementing sales strategies, and managing commercial activities to drive business growth and profitability. This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, analysing market trends, and ensuring that sales targets are met or exceeded. Roles and Responsibilities: To develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve business objectives Set sales targets and KPIs for the sales team Conduct market research and analyse market trends to identify new business opportunities Lead, mentor and motivate the sales team to achieve high performance Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback Develop training programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of the sales team Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders Identify and address client needs and concerns to ensure customer satisfaction Oversee the development and implementation of customer retention strategies Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients and suppliers Monitor and manage the commercial aspects of projects, ensuring profitability and compliance Develop pricing strategies and ensure competitive positioning in the market Prepare and present sales reports and perform analysis to senior management Work closely with other departments such as marketing, finance and operations to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Engineering or other related field A minimum of 10 years' experience in sales including a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets Experience in a managerial role, demonstrating the ability to lead and motivate a sales team In-depth understanding of Oil and Gas product services and technology desirable Specific experience with Cementing, Drilling Fluids and LWD/MWD highly desirable Please apply via this advertisement and upload a detailed resume outlining your qualifications and work experience.
