We’re enabling a zero carbon, lower cost energy future for all, and working hard to decarbonise the planet for generations to come.About the roleAs a Data Manager, you’ll manage the prioritisation and implementation of data-related deliverables across Drax Group to align with the overall business strategy and operating models. You’ll understand the impacts to opportunities for investment, strategic direction, cost avoidance and efficiency to build one cohesive delivery plan.Using strong communication and influencing skills, you’ll work with key stakeholders across business units to ensure requirements are met and relative priorities understood.Dimensions of the role include:Using expertise in business case design and tracking to drive benefits realisation with ownership of data driven benefits and cost avoidance in an estimated range of £0 - £25m per deliverableData delivery programme governance and structure implementation using appropriate methodologyResponsibility for Data Science, Data Governance, Dashboard and Reporting workstream deliveryLeading change planning and project boards across Drax at all levels, delivering outcomes, decisions and actions with accountability and deadlinesDelivering high quality data management solutions and capabilities across the Drax GroupResponsibility for programme budgets and software delivery up to £3m per annumWho we’re looking forYou’ll have strong portfolio management level experience in Organisational Development and/or Transformational Change in a FTSE 250 size organisation. This will be coupled with experience leading both Agile and Waterfall programmes.This role will suit you if you’re analytically minded with great problem-solving skills, and comfortable working at a rapid pace with changing priorities.You’ll have the ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively with external and internal stakeholders to senior management level.
