Free Car Parking Defence Health premium discounts Employee Assistance & well-being programs Salary packaging Group Life and salary continuance Insurance Study Assistance and Training The Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Engineer is a critical and influential position within the company, responsible for applying logistic-engineering subject matter expert knowledge and experience across air, land and sea domains to deliver material ILS outcomes for Defence end-users.In this position, you will provide logistic-engineering services, data and documentation to internal and external customers, including systems engineers, project managers, product support teams and bids & contracts in response to tender submissions.The position is also responsible for planning, controlling and developing customer facing logistic-engineering documentation, performing Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) activities and managing a small team including an ILS Analyst and Technical Writers to achieve company outcomes.This role is responsible for: Developing company ILS strategies, procedures and work instructions; publishing information in the Quality Management System (QMS) where appropriate to standardise methodologies.Developing and delivering customer-facing, logistic-engineering documentation identified in Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRL).Providing logistic-engineering advice and data in response to tender submissions.Representing CEA on logistic-engineering topics during contract negotiations.Assisting the CEA Training Manager develop operator-maintainer training strategies, training specifications and learning management packages.Within area of practice and competence, undertaking additional logistics-engineering activities as directed by senior managers. Minimum Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in a relevant engineering or logistics area of practice.Relevant logistics-engineering competencies, including analysis and documentation development.Five or more years' experience in an acquisition or sustainment organisation.Sound understanding of the project lifecycle, ILS standards and practices.Ability to anticipate problems in developing, integrating, maintaining and supporting complex systems.Ability to analyse and solve problems logically and proactively to meet deadlines.Well-developed interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills to interact with diverse groups and individuals.Ability to cope with organisational change and demonstrate a high level of personal drive and resilience. Highly Desirable: Ten or more years' experience in a Defence or Defence Industry acquisition or sustainment organisation.Demonstrated attention to detail, in particular quality review of documentation.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office - MS Excel.
