About Us: The Housing and Homelessness Division as part of the Department of Communities is responsible for leading the land, housing, and built-form construction activities of the agency. The Opportunity: There are opportunities within the Housing Delivery & Asset Maintenance directorate which drives the delivery of the State Government's investments in social housing and infrastructure, aligned to Ministerial priorities to address community need. Opportunities exist within the directorate's major projects and complex programs teams, along with residential construction teams delivering low, medium and high density developments located in metro, regional and or remote locations. The Program Manager: As Program Manager, you will be responsible for: Managing multiple diverse projects (whole of life) as part of a broader Program, that are typically complex, high value and/or high risk. Leads project teams and oversees and acts as an integrator across multiple workstreams to deliver on project outcomes. Coordinates a team of multi-disciplinary consultants including legal, commercial and technical consultants (including asset management advisors, engineers, ICT advisors and cost consultants). Drives the initiation, planning and delivery of new projects. Develops and manages project operating budget against financial and non-financial performance targets. Develops and maintains networks and relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders. Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments will be made for this or similar future vacancies (fixed-term or permanent) that may arise within the next 36 months across the Department of Communities.
