The Opportunity
Join our Western Harbour Tunnel and Sydney Harbour Tunnel Asset Management Services Contract. As our Electrical Technician, you will primarily repair and maintain instrumentation, communication and monitoring systems throughout the tunnels.

About the Role:
The Electronics/Electrical Technician repairs and maintains instrumentation, communication and
monitoring systems throughout the Tunnel. The Electrical Technician reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and takes directions from the Maintenance Manager and Operations Manager as required.
The Electrical Technician also takes direction from the Tunnel Controllers with respect to maintenance work which affects the tunnel operations, and, where necessary, to respond to.
* 24/7 rotating roster - mix of day and night shifts
* 12hr shifts (6am-6pm and 6pm-6am)
* 19 shifts per 6-week rotation which includes weekends
* Based at North Sydney
Could you be our next Electrical Technician?
* Trade qualified - Electrician
* Experience with respect to all associated electrical/electronic/instrumentation and communication works associated with Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) and other traffic control systems is a must
* Previous experience on Traffic Signals, underground power installations and ITS/Communication equipment's is advantageous
* Good working knowledge of MS Word, MS Outlook and MS Excel
* Ability to learn and use general systems/ software when necessary to support the position including Asset Vision and Team Binder
* NSW Drivers License (MR or greater)
* Confined space entry ticket
* Working from Elevated Work Platforms ticket
* Forklift operation ticket
* Vehicle Loading Crane ticket
* White Card
