Emergency Department Secretary: Facilitating Excellence in Healthcare
Join SA Health as an Emergency Department Secretary and play a vital role in supporting our medical teams. In this short-term, part-time contract position at Flinders Medical Centre, you'll provide essential clerical support to senior consultants and nursing leadership. About the Role:
Reporting to the SALHN Medical/Nursing Director and the Emergency Department Clerical Manager, the Emergency Department Secretary will provide a comprehensive reception and secretarial service for the Flinders Medical Centre Emergency Department. Some of your responsibilities may include:
Diary Management/room bookings.
General administrative support to the ED leadership team.
Minute taking and meeting coordination.
Report creation and data entry.
Stock management.
About you:
Ability to organise and prioritise work and to meet deadlines.
Experience in data entry and the use of a variety of office equipment.
Understanding and knowledge of medical terminology.
Ability to communicate with all levels of management, other staff and a broad range of individuals and groups.
