About the role
This role ensures facility cleanliness and provides laundry services to prevent the spread of infections and disease. You will work across our site, carrying out cleaning duties and tasks, creating a clean and safe environment for all employees and residents. Your responsibilities include using specialist cleaning equipment, handling chemicals safely, and maintaining high standards of hygiene. Effective communication with residents, visitors, and staff while respecting privacy and cultural needs is key. You will also report daily activities and any maintenance issues to the Domestic Services Supervisor.
The below roster is on offer:
1. Week 1 and 2: Tues, Wed, Thurs 08:00 – 13:00
About you
We are looking for someone who takes pride in being responsible and reliable, with a keen eye for detail. You will understand the importance of putting residents at the centre of everything we do, tailoring your work to meet their individual needs. Your strong grasp of Safety, Health, and Hygiene principles will ensure you always prioritise a safe and healthy environment. Required experience includes:
* Infection Prevention Control certificate
* Demonstrated experience in a similar role
* Strong time management and organisational skills
* Good communication skills with a wide range of people
* Understanding of your own safety and that of others in the workplace
* National Police Clearance (obtained within the last six months)
* Evidence of relevant vaccinations including Mumps, Varicella, Rubella, TB and Measles
