Job Description
The Re-Entry Support Officer will provide case management support to clients subject to parole orders, particularly during their transition from custody. This role is part of our corrective services re-entry program, CREST, which serves communities in Far North and Central Queensland.
Main Responsibilities:
* Support clients in achieving their re-entry goals through individualised plans
* Liaise with stakeholders within the community to ensure seamless support
* Advocate for clients with complex needs and provide case management support
* Complete daily data entries across Queensland Corrective Services (QCS) and Lives Lived Well (LLW) client management systems
Requirements:
* Qualifications in a relevant human services field or applicable workforce experience
* Experience in assessment and case management with vulnerable populations from diverse backgrounds
* Excellent time management skills and ability to manage a busy caseload
* Highly developed consultation, communication, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to manage administrative tasks to a high standard, including timely and accurate case-noting, and data entry
* Current Driver's Licence and eligibility for QCS Clearance (criminal history check)
* Ability to work within a correctional facility
