Business Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Business Analyst to support a Defence program in Melbourne. These roles require strong collaboration, compliance, procurement, and analytical skills to ensure successful delivery within a tight timeframe.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyse supply chain and procurement data to support business operations and decision-making.
* Use data-driven insights to troubleshoot operational issues and develop actionable solutions.
* Support inventory management by analysing historical data and assisting in the development of procurement schedules.
* Conduct procurement-related analytics to support supplier sourcing, evaluation, down selection, negotiation, and contract management.
* Prepare and manage cost-benefit analysis reports for internal stakeholders.
* Provide comprehensive and clear data insights to drive efficiency and cost savings.
Skills & Experience Required
* Baseline Security Clearance
* Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field
* At least 5 years' experience in a business or supply chain analytical role
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Exceptional attention to detail
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
* Familiarity with supply chain processes
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
* Power BI experience (advantageous)
* SAP experience (highly regarded)
