Health, Safety & Environment (Mining, Resources & Energy)Full timeA career with Transhipment Services Australia (TSA) is a unique opportunity to work with one of Australia's primary transhipment services providers.It is not just a job; it is an opportunity where you will be challenged and inspired to achieve goals whilst enjoying your work along the way.Joining the TSA team, you will contribute and share ideas with a team of experienced marine professionals and technical experts.We encourage a culture where all employees are driven to better themselves and contribute to TSA's growth ensuring we are the transhipment services provider of choice for employees and clients.We are currently seeking an experienced Health Safety Environment and Quality Manager to join our team in West Perth.About the Role:Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for leading the safety function and supporting TSA's health, safety, environmental and quality system improvement to achieve an incident and injury free workplace.In this role, you will be responsible for:Management of the TSA HSE team, ensuring they deliver on their health and safety responsibilities and adherence to safety guidelines by all workers;Promoting a healthy work environment across all levels of the business;Working with the Senior Leadership team to maintain the health and safety system, ensuring high levels of staff engagement and ensuring due diligence obligations are met;Providing one on one coaching/mentoring support to Managers and leading the HSE team ensuring they can deliver on their health and safety responsibilities and adherence to safety guidelines by all workers;Supporting and facilitating the onsite management team to undertake reviews and investigations into incidents and workplace injuries;Taking a leading role in the development and implementation of TSA Return to Work, Rehabilitation & Recovery at Work initiatives and relevant state based Workcover organisations;Supporting, and where necessary, reviewing, the preparation of evidence-based responses and practices to common law claims;Establishing, managing and monitoring standards, processes, communications, training, and systems to ensure all responsibilities associated with Health and Safety within TSA are adhered to;Establishing key relationships with internal and external stakeholders, clients, Executives, contractors, and relevant partners to ensure that Quality and WH&S requirements are developed, implemented and reviewed on a regular basis;Reporting on health, safety and quality statistics, coordinate and perform audits and deliver monthly reporting;Supporting the preparation and conduct of all external WH&S and Quality audits;Supporting the TSA Managing Director in always protecting TSA interests through the application of effective risk management in all activities and in accordance with regulatory and company guidelines.To be successful in this role, the below attributes, qualifications and experience are preferred:Diploma in WHS or similar formal HSE trainingCertificate IV in training and assessmentIncident investigation lead auditor to a recognised standard – e.g.ICAMWorkcover, rehabilitation and return to work experienceWriting procedures and safety management toolsAuditing, maintaining and monitoring Safety Management SystemsIntermediate Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook)Well-developed communication and interpersonal skillsMinimum 3 years' experience in a similar roleIf you feel you would be a good fit for this role, please click the "Apply" link.TSA is an equal opportunity employer and encourages applications from Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islanders.#J-18808-Ljbffr
