Job Overview:
Our client, a leading retail organisation, is looking for an EUC Engineer to develop, implement, and maintain the operational models, processes, and procedures required to support and enhance their IT systems. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about technology and IT operations, with a focus on providing robust solutions for business continuity and operational excellence.
You will play a key role in managing enterprise-scale IT environments, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and continued development across critical IT infrastructure, including Active Directory, Group Policy, Modern Device Management, and M365 platform management.
Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and manage operational models and procedures to ensure the efficient support and maintenance of IT systems.Administer and manage Active Directory (AD) and Group Policy (GPO) to ensure secure and efficient user access and configuration management.Take responsibility for Modern Device Management, including the management of Windows 10/11 and mobile devices using tools like Intune and SCCM.Manage and support the M365 platform, including configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization of Office 365 services.Package and deploy software via Intune and SCCM for a large-scale environment.Provide expert guidance on EUC (End User Computing) issues, troubleshooting complex problems, and working with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues.Establish and maintain documentation for processes, procedures, and configurations.Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and enhancement of the user experience.Collaborate with IT teams to develop strategies that enhance security, compliance, and efficiency across the IT infrastructure.Key Requirements: Proven experience as an EUC Engineer, Desktop Engineer, or similar role, with a strong focus on user device management and systems administration.In-depth experience with Active Directory and Group Policy Administration.Hands-on expertise with Modern Device Management (MDM) tools, particularly Intune and SCCM.Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 platform, including security and administration of Microsoft services (Teams, SharePoint, Exchange, etc.).Experience in packaging and deploying software via SCCM and Intune in large enterprise environments.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong documentation and process development skills, ensuring clarity and adherence to best practices.Familiarity with ITIL or other service management frameworks is a plus.Strong communication skills with the ability to work across various business functions and IT teams.Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSA, MCSE, Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals)Experience in retail or large-scale enterprise environments.Scripting or automation skills (e.g., PowerShell, Python).Why Join Us?
