About the Role:
We are experiencing significant growth and are currently recruiting for an Associate Director in our Perth and Brisbane offices. This role is ideal for an experienced consultant, strategic procurement practitioner, or service provider with a proven track record in delivering complex IT Managed Services or System Selection sourcing projects. Role Responsibilities:
* Business Relationships : Build and own key business relationships. Manage and deliver quality work on assigned IT sourcing projects and engagements, taking responsibility for larger and higher risk projects.
* Lifecycle Management : Lead and support all parts of the project lifecycle (strategy, design, implementation, monitor), including leveraging shared services and outsourcing arrangements.
* Technical Leadership : Provide advanced technical knowledge, direction, and training to team members.
* Growth and Development : Actively participate in the growth of the Sourcing and Procurement Advisory team, including resource allocation, career development of staff, and other management decisions.
* Business Development : Focus on building networks, fostering internal collaboration, and contributing to business development efforts.
* Client Outcomes : Deliver quality business outcomes in complex and fluid environments.
Experience:
* Demonstrated experience in complex IT Sourcing (Full stack IT Managed Services and technology/business system selection).
* Previous roles in consulting or service provider organisations delivering to clients, or as a buyer/customer with a strong commercial and delivery focus.
* Experience in outsourcing selection, service establishment, remediation, sales/bid management, transition, service delivery, or vendor/contract management.
* High-level understanding of the Australian outsourcing market, service providers, and trends in legacy, emerging and disruptive technologies.
* Practical experience delivering positive outcomes in roles such as procurement manager, strategic sourcing manager, contract manager, or commercial manager.
* Established network in Perth or Brisbane, with experience in industries such as Government, Defence, Education, Health, Justice, Mining & Metals, Energy & Utilities, Financial Services, Retail, Telco, and Transport.
* Additional experience in Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and/or Shared Services projects is highly regarded.
* Excellent teamwork and well-developed communication skills, both written and verbal.
* An exceptional attitude focused on achieving desired customer outcomes.
Qualifications
* Appropriate
qualifications
including a degree in a related discipline.
* Working knowledge of industry methodologies such as ITIL, PRINCE2, SAFe.
