Connect APAC has been retained in the search for a National Account Manager Woolworths role by a market-leading Consumer Goods organisation, leaders in the Private Label sector across 3 major categories.This opportunity suits a strategic National Account Manager to manage the largest account within the Retail team. In this pivotal role, you will craft and implement strategies that drive growth and unlock the full potential of this high-value account. Your expertise will be key to fostering strong relationships with the National Buyer Director’s team while also collaborating with stakeholders across our European headquarters.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Account Management: Take ownership of the largest account in the Australian portfolio, ensuring top-line sales, exceptional service delivery, fostering strong relationships, and identifying growth opportunities while preparing upcoming tenders.Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with the national buyer director’s team and liaise with internal stakeholders locally and internationally to align strategies and address key issues.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless execution of account strategies. Preparation of monthly volume and sales forecasts with supply chain and finance.Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer needs to adapt strategies and drive competitive advantage. Analyze and report on competitor developments in both Australia and New Zealand. Carry out regular retail audits to monitor price positioning, new product introductions, and promotional activity.Negotiation & Sales Strategy: Develop and implement tailored sales strategies, negotiate terms, and execute plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.Experience Required:Proven experience as a National Account Manager or similar role in the FMCG industry.Experience working with key grocery accounts - ideally Woolworths or Coles.A large benefit will be if you have worked on Private Label portfolios.Benefits:Truly flexible environment: 2 days in the office, with a 9-5 pm environment - no plans to change this.Work directly with senior leadership - Commercial & GM.Opportunity to also work within the NZ market.
