We have a unique opportunity for a People Assistant who has a passion for human resources and a commitment to delivering exceptional results. This role aims to provide administrative support to the People team, across all our offices and your success will be reliant on your ability to engage with our internal clients and work with the team, to align with our values and business goals. What does a standard week look like? Administrative Support: Assist with day-to-day HR administrative tasks, including maintaining employee records, preparing HR documents, and managing HR databases. Recruitment Administrative Support: Coordinate recruitment activities, including candidate marketing, scheduling interviews, managing job postings, assisting with phone screening, communicating with candidates and managing the careers email inbox. Onboarding and offboarding: Support the people team with onboarding and offboarding process to ensure they have a positive and seamless experience aligned to the firm's goals. Compliance: Ensure HR practices comply with relevant employment laws, regulations and Modern Awards. HR databases: Maintain accurate employee records and databases to maintain clean data for efficient administration and reporting. Events and Project support: Providing administrative support for HR-led initiatives. To be successful in this role, you will have: Administration experience, preferably high volume where accuracy was essential. Previous entry level HR experience is advantageous. Excellence in Microsoft Office, including Power Point and Excel. Preferably familiar with HR software, any applicant tracking systems, Seek or LinkedIn. Critical thinking and a proactive approach to problem-solving, along with the ability to identify process improvements. Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and enjoy interacting with people from diverse backgrounds and at different levels. Ability to work collaboratively and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Proven ability to handle sensitive information, maintaining confidentiality.
