About the role: Maas Civil, a business unit of MGH, is currently seeking an experienced Civil Construction Supervisor to join their already highly successful, results driven team based in project area NSW. With a strong reputation, based around a team of dedicated professionals, MGH has experienced exponential growth.As the Civil Construction Supervisor, report directly to the NSW Civil Construction Manager, you will supervise employees on major projects throughout NSW whilst keeping people safe whilst delivering project outcomes. Responsibilities: Overseeing works team, ensuring their understanding of the project requirements, scheduling of works, resource allocation and zero harm compliance Ensuring all approvals are current, prior to the commencement of works Securing and coordinating necessary resources for the delivery of programmed works Seek and provide advice on technical matters as required Regularly reporting of work performance including measuring, monitoring and reporting on KPIs Signing off on documentation as required (job specific, WHS forms etc). Maintain accurate, organised records both electronically and in hard copy formats Participate in daily pre-start briefing/toolbox meetings Knowledge and experience required: Cert IV Front line Management or equivalent TfNSW specifications knowledge preferable Experienced in road construction Understanding of Traffic Management requirements. A valid driver's licence 3-5 years' experience in a similar role within the construction industry Strong supervisory experience across civil construction and earthworks Experience in scheduling and programming of project activities Demonstrable knowledge of construction techniques and maintenance practices, including materials selection for construction and maintenance Extensive experience with selecting and applying correct treatments for the execution of maintenance work Ability to select and assign appropriate plant and equipment for the works execution Ability to review and implement traffic management plans High level of computer literacy, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint Strong ability to work with others: Direct/Indirect reports and Internal/ External stakeholders Ensure compliance with all Company, Project, Statuary and Regulatory requirements Benefits and Perks: An opportunity to make an impact with a growing and forward-thinking ASX company.
