This role will feed your soul.We are seeking enthusiastic, energetic and highly flexible individuals to join our Bethanie Community South Metro team as a part-time Unqualified Support Worker supporting areas within the South West (Bunbury) region.Whilst you use your own car we offer a travel allowance of $0.92 per kilometre. To be considered for this role you will be available to work:Permanent part time (minimum 15-20 hours per week guaranteed)Working shifts between the hours of 9:00am – 3:00pm across Monday to Friday.About the role: Professionally deliver a variety of services (including community outings, food, laundry, leisure, supporting hobbies and interests & domestic cleaning)Ensure all living areas of clients' homes are kept clean and tidy, and safe from hazardsAll personal care tasks and outcomes are met and documented appropriatelyProvide respect and compassion to clientsSupport customer with transport to appointmentsProvide social support to customers spending time doing the things they loveAbout you: Previous experience within an Aged Care, or Community Care environment desired – if you haven't worked in the industry tell us about your passion for older peopleAbility to work independently, as well as part of a teamAbility to ensure safety and wellbeing of clients are maintainedDrivers licence, and access to a reliable vehicleCurrent Police Clearance, or willingness to apply for oneWilling to obtain required vaccinations – 3x covid and annual flu vaccinationWorking with Bethanie At Bethanie we are committed to being an employer of choice by creating a supportive and compassionate environment for our people, customers and residents.
