We are looking for Managers
As a Manager focused on Defence and security, you will work across a range of teams to establish and deliver projects, including by engaging clients and their stakeholders, undertaking quantitative and qualitative data analysis, and preparing deliverables across a range of formats that distil analysis into clear and compelling recommendations for clients. That will mean working with government agencies and private organisations in the Defence and security sector, as well as across Nous’ broader range of clients. You will lead project delivery, develop and manage relationships with clients, provide thought leadership, support and enable high-achieving project teams, and actively contribute to building the capability of your colleagues.
You are:
* Passionate and driven about doing work that matters and creates positive influence, in an environment that values diversity and creativity.
* Resilient with the ability to thrive in fast-paced, uncertain and intense working environments.
* Committed and motivated to delivering high quality work and outcomes for clients and colleagues, underpinned by a consistent commitment to professionalism.
* Capable of working autonomously with limited direction from others and balancing competing priorities and pressures on your time.
* Engaging and collaborative with the ability to bring energy and enthusiasm for working with clients and colleagues across all your work.
* Intellectually flexible and innovative with the ability to develop intellectual property through projects, teams and practice groups to enhance our existing methods and frameworks.
* Enthusiastic and curious about working across a wide range of service lines and sectors, and continually learning new subject matters and skills on the job.
And the practical experience:
* 5+ years of work experience in an enterprise environment, including demonstrated experience successfully leading teams to deliver complex programs of work
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret qualitative and quantitative data
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, including structured thinking and intellectual flexibility
* Robust interpersonal skills including the ability to navigate uncertain environments with clients and colleagues, provide and respond to feedback, and organise and manage teams
* Relevant experience in the Defence and security sector, especially Commonwealth Government experience.
* Currently hold an Australian Government security clearance at NV1 or higher.
