Reporting to the Village Manager, you will be committed to providing exceptional services and amenities that enhance the quality of life for our cherished residents. We're on the lookout for someone to join our team and take pride in maintaining the pristine condition of our beautiful village grounds and facilities. In addition you will have the opportunity of driving our village bus transporting our much loved residents shopping and on excursions.
The position
You will be responsible for:
* Village presentation including maintaining the grounds and gardens - minimal grass mowing and edging
* Village waste bins
* Line-trimming under fences and gates and conducting weed spraying as required
* Keeping driveways, roads, and parking areas clean and well presented
* Assisting with the maintenance of gardening equipment
* Assisting with reactive and preventative maintenance across the village as required
* Rectifying or reporting to the Village Manager any safety issues or breaches of Workplace, Health and Safety
We’re on the lookout for someone with:
* Demonstrated gardening skills
* Current Drivers Licence - Essential
* National Police Check (or ability to obtain)
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment including Drug and Alcohol Testing
