This part of the business supports primarily the agriculture business from Shepparton providing a range of design & construct solutions for large-scale farming buildings and infrastructure.Your new roleThe Contract Administrator will report to the GM of Turnkey Projects and will be responsible for the management of all new and existing client contracts and will handle the day-to-day management of all associated matters relating to the scope of work, variations, and liaison with sales, engineering, procurement, and estimating teams.Other responsibilities include:Communicate project's scope of works and inclusions to project teamsPrepare tender documentation for procurement of sub-contractors including tender and pricing schedules, scope of works, comparative tender analysis, and recommendationsFoster and maintain strong relationships with sub-contractors and suppliersAssist Project Manager with progress claimsProcure approved subcontracts and materialsManage and maintain project budget recordsPreparation of Head Contract variationsAssessing subcontractor claims and variationsReporting on project budget statusUse IMS forms to prepare project WHS documentationPut together WHS folder for site (sign-in, toolbox, pre-start)Sub-contractors on-boardingIssue progress claimsEnsure timely deliveries from suppliers and alert Site Manager and Project Manager on impacts of changes on project timingAssist Project Manager with cash flows and forecastingYour experience and QualificationsTo be successful you will need to have a strong background within the construction industry managing end-to-end contract issues.Significant experience in a similar roleSupportive team mentalityExperience working in construction, civil or mechanical fieldsReally strong collaborative communication skillsWhat nextIf you feel you have the skills for this role please apply now.
