The Diocese of Broken Bay, extending from Sydney's Northern Beaches to the North Shore and up to the Central Coast, is seeking a Compliance Officer who is dedicated to the wellbeing of the community and promoting a culture of safeguarding excellence.In this role, you'll make an impact by: Providing Administrative Support: Manage correspondence, prepare for meetings, and maintain critical documents that reinforce safeguarding practices and compliance.Building Strong Stakeholder Relationships: Collaborate effectively with clergy, parishes, and diocesan staff, ensuring that safeguarding practices are seamlessly integrated and communicated.Overseeing Screening and Compliance: Administer and monitor screening procedures, including Working with Children Checks and National Police Checks, maintaining meticulous records.Contributing to Audits and Reporting: Assist with the preparation of internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with policies and legislative standards.Supporting Parishes: Act as a reliable point of contact for safeguarding guidance, responding promptly and professionally.About You: You bring a proactive, adaptable mindset, thriving in collaborative settings and demonstrating a commitment to service excellence.
