Our client is a global manufacturing facility in Blayney, seeking a Facility Manager.You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of facilities and management services across 2 sites.The role will include maintenance of plant and equipment, contract management, project management, Health & Safety, environmental management, along with soft services management.A key aspect of the role is the direction of the team to drive visible improvement in standards of service to the customer.Key Accountabilities: Manage and coordinate the delivery of all Facilities Management Services within contract scope.Minor works/project management, from inception to completion for the client site.Ensure proper coordination in relation to significant projects and critical events to ensure compliance with established rules.Manage service contracts on behalf of the client, including uniforms, catering, cleaning, security, waste streams, engineering, etc.Direct responsibility for overall performance delivery.Ensure service providers meet or exceed agreed SLA's and KPI's.Budget development and presentation to line manager, budget management, and financial reporting.Overall financial responsibility for the site budgets and accounts.Establish resource requirements for both self-delivery and contracted staff to maintain day-to-day service delivery.Direction, management, and development of reporting staff.Establish effective day-to-day business relationships and take a proactive approach to requirements.Ensure compliance with safe work practices and procedures of employees and contracted employees.Control all purchasing, ensuring competitive pricing, tenders, approvals, and timely submission for settlement.Introduce initiatives and encourage a continuous improvement philosophy across the sites, driving client/customer satisfaction.Essential: Demonstrated managerial capability in Facility Management technology.IT - good working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office tools.Motivate employees and client groups to take desired action.Respond to sensitive issues, complex inquiries, or complaints from clients, co-workers, supervisors, and/or management.Excellent client relationship skills.Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.Good oral and written communication skills.Strong organizational skills.Monday - Friday 7 - 3.30pm, must be flexible with hours.Competitive salary and work vehicle included.
