Apply today Your new role The purpose of this position is to manage projects in the business portfolio. The role is critical to ensuring a first-class customer service experience for external clients and internal teams. The company offers ship repair, maintenance and asset management / in-service support capabilities for commercial and naval ships in Australia. The business also offers the provision of docking, reticulated services and facility maintenance within Garden Island. Your Responsibilities: Liaising closely and collaboratively with functional teams to ensure efficient delivery of projects. Effective management of stakeholders and associated communications, both external and internal. Preparing, monitoring and managing Project integrated schedule, budget, baselines, risks and opportunities. Preparing and presenting all internal and customer reporting requirements. Develop KPIs and conduct analysis to provide early alert to the business of all significant emerging variances and risks. Develop and execute mitigation plans to counter variances and risks. Providing specialist work package management services to ensure requirements are completed safely within the agreed schedule, cost, quality and meet the customer technical requirements including Objective Quality Evidence (OQE). Management of Industrial Relations, HSE, Security issues on-site and off-site What you'll need to succeed Proven and effective leadership skills with a high level of interpersonal and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams. Degree qualified in business, engineering, project management or other suitable discipline. Project Management experience with subcontractors, suppliers and multi-partners / major co-contractors. Experience working with a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
