As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Business Support Officer – HR to join our team and play a key role in our people operations.About the Role:Reporting to the HR Manager, this role is ideal for a detail-oriented and proactive individual who prioritises accuracy and precision in their work. As a Business Support Officer – HR, you will provide essential administrative and operational support to the HR team, ensuring smooth and efficient HR functions, with their priority in Payroll.Key Responsibilities:Oversee time and attendance records, ensuring accurate tracking of employee hours and timesheets.Provide comprehensive support for payroll preparation and processing, including collecting, verifying, and maintaining employee data.Working closely with our Payroll Officer and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.Support Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) activities, including maintaining WHS records, assisting with incident reporting, and promoting compliance with safety policies and procedures.Maintain accurate HR records, databases, and personnel files in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.Provide general administrative support to the HR teamAbout You:To be successful in this role, you will have:Previous experience in an HR support, Payroll or administrative role.Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HR software.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.A proactive and adaptable approach to work.A relevant qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not essential).Experience or knowledge in Payroll, HR and/or WHS processes will be highly regarded.Why Join Us?Be part of a supportive, fun and friendly team.Opportunity for career development and growth.3 meals provided each week!If you’re a motivated and organised individual looking to grow your HR career, we’d love to hear from you!How to Apply:Please submit your resume and a cover letter outlining your suitability for the role to arainger@bosseng.com.auWe encourage applications from candidates of all backgrounds and experiences.
