About the role:
We are looking for a full-time Senior Oncology Pharmacist to join our supportive and collaborative team located onsite in the Epworth Eastern Hospital in Box Hill. You will oversee and co-ordinate the provision of oncology services both to the Day Oncology Unit and inpatient oncology units with the support of the broader pharmacy and oncology team.
Key Responsibilities:
4. Using ARIA, coordinate and organise the supply of chemotherapy for the day oncology unit patients and inpatients
5. Perform medication chart reviews and medication reconciliation
6. Dispense and supply medication and pharmacy products
7. Participate in clinical screening of chemotherapy orders
8. Educate and counsel staff, patients and allied health professionals
9. Provide leadership to the oncology team

About You:
As a registered pharmacist with Australian or New Zealand based pharmacy experience, you will have a team orientated attitude, a focus on delivering exceptional service and care to patients, and the ability to manage your own workload with good communication skills to effectively liaise with a wide range of health professionals. You will be highly driven and have high attention to detail and a passion for building on your clinical skills and knowledge.
Hospital experience is essential (either in Australia or New Zealand) - prior oncology experience is highly desirable, and training will also be provided.
