The largest bookselling network in Australia, we pride ourselves on providing the best experience for our customers through our extensive range of books, gifts, and stationery.Job DescriptionAs a core part of the Booklover loyalty team, you will lead and execute loyalty and marketing campaigns for email and SMS channels.End-to-end execution of email and SMS campaigns (both batch and automated), from creative briefing, content, building, testing, and scheduling in Emarsys.Lead projects to improve email and SMS campaign performance, including in personalization and segmentation.Build out and implement an automated programs strategy across the customer lifecycle.Work closely with stakeholders to build out a monthly EDM calendar of tactical communications in alignment with the wider marketing calendar.Manage the day-to-day creative briefing process and sign off by relevant parties ensuring attention to detail is applied.Communicate comms to relevant parties—franchise owners, store managers, buying team etc., so everyone is across all communications to the member database.Write and edit content for all campaigns.Manage a program of A/B testing to continuously refine segmentation and target groups.Analyse, report, and make recommendations on campaign performance and ongoing trends in the marketplace.Ensure campaigns follow best legal and regulatory practice, including Spam Act and privacy practices.Respond to escalated customer enquiries and individual store requests.Undertake special project work and provide general marketing support as required.Desired Skills and ExperienceExperience in B2C email and SMS campaign management for an enterprise-level organization.At least 1-2 years experience building emails, SMS, and segmentation using Emarsys or similar professional B2C email campaign platform (e.g., Emarsys, Adobe Campaign, Braze, HubSpot Marketing Hub, Salesforce Marketing Cloud).Experience building and managing an email automation program.Have good knowledge of email best practices, including customer lifecycle, segmentation, personalization, and testing (A/B).Have experience working with data sets and obtaining valuable insights from data.Understand Spam and Privacy compliance.Can work well with various stakeholders to get consensus and sign-off.Have exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.Preferred: previous marketing & campaign experience with a loyalty program, previous experience integrating email & SMS campaign platform into a customer data platform (CDP).When applying for the role please include a cover letter addressing the key responsibilities and skills required.
