Work with a leading technology provider based in Central Coast. As a Field Engineer, you will provide technical (1st and 2nd level) IT support to internal employees via telephone, email, walk-ins, and remotely. You will be part of a busy team working to support customers with exceptional customer service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Experience with desktop support, server support, hardware, network and software installation and troubleshooting.
* O365 experience is essential. Software and Hardware diagnostic skills and building/upgrading PCs.
* Active Directory (users, mailbox management), Operating system support (Windows 10 & 7, Linux, and other operating systems).
* Prior experience working in hardware break and fix, installation, desk-side software support, and service desk support.
* People with Limited-Service Desk Experience of 1 year in IT Service Desk, Help Desk, IT Support Analyst, or Technical Support can apply.
* Provide support for hardware such as laptops, desktops, and monitors.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
* Proven experience in a Technical support environment performing fault investigation, triaging, and resolution.
* Experience with desktop support, server support, hardware, network and software installation and troubleshooting.
* O365 experience is essential for this opportunity due to the nature of the environment.
* Experience with supporting a corporate Windows and Linux environment.
* Experience with supporting physical and virtual environments (Desktop and Servers).
* Active Directory (users, mailbox management).
* Operating system support (Windows 10 & 7, Linux, and other operating systems).
* Office 365, Outlook, Exchange, and other critical business application support.
* Complex Software installation and troubleshooting.
* Network (triaging, fault diagnostic, root cause analysis).
* Software and Hardware diagnostic skills and building/upgrading PCs.
* Must have driver's license and car.
