2. Full time hours Monday - Friday
3. Long term contract with high chances of extension

The role:
The Customer Service Officer role requires candidates that can work as part of a team contributing to a whole of government service. In this role candidates need a strong background in customer service/service delivery with the ability to problem solve and adapt to changes in work priorities.
Duties of the position include but are not limited to:
4. Responding to phone and email security clearance related enquiries
5. Processing and transacting security clearance related products
6. Working collaboratively within a diverse team and work environment
7. Ongoing engagement with on-the-job training and participation in activities to build and maintain customer service skills, systems and product knowledge
Ideal Candidate:
8. Demonstrated ability to operate and produce high quality customer service outcomes in a fast paced environment with competing priorities
9. Strong communication skills to support a diverse range of stakeholders
10. Developed interpersonal and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines and adhoc tasks
11. High level computer literacy, with demonstrated ability to learn new systems
Please note: There is no public transport directly to or close to the location of this department a valid driving licence is essential.
