Our people and our culture are the cornerstone of our offering.The Position :Genus are seeking a Recruitment Officer Maternity Leave Cover for an initial 12 month contract, with potential to extend and permanency within the Group.Our team specialises in coordinating the high-volume recruitment & mobilisation of blue and white-collar personnel.
Previous experience recruiting in the construction or resources industries is essential to succeed in this role.Reporting to the Operations Team, the Recruitment Officer's responsibilities will include :Develop and maintain positive relationships with candidates, clients and internal stakeholders.Liaise with staff, clients and third parties on resourcing requirements for current and upcoming projects and attend resourcing planning meetings.Advertise vacancies, source candidates and maintain an extensive candidate database.Shortlist, screen, and reference check applicants as required.Provide updates and reports on recruitment activity and pipelines.Essential Skills / Qualifications / Experience :Minimum 3+ years' experience in a role with high volume recruitment.Previous experience in recruitment of blue- and white-collar roles, preferably within the construction industry.Demonstrated experience managing a candidate database and use of recruitment software, such as JobAdder.Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills which enable you to converse with a wide range of individuals on a daily basis, including strong stakeholder and networking capability.Ability to effectively prioritise and manage competing priorities, with strong adherence to deadlines.Ability to work autonomously and unsupervised, as required.High level of internet and PC proficiency, including use of Microsoft Office Suite and Recruitment Software / s.Benefits :Gain valuable industry knowledge from our highly experienced recruitment & project team members.Free onsite parking at our Belmont Head Office.Competitive salary package.Opportunity to work with an ASX listed company.Ongoing learning and development opportunities to help broaden your skill set.If you're ready to take the next step in your recruitment career, please select apply and attach a copy of your resume and cover letter highlighting your relevant experience.GenusPlus Group values diversity and equal opportunity employment.
