This role will ensure effective quality supervision of onsite construction workers, sourcing quotes and ordering materials. You will work closely with project managers to ensure quality standards meet client expectations. The ideal applicant will have strong industry knowledge and management skills.RequirementsMinimum 5 years’ experience in Civil Construction (Supervision) or equivalent.Experience in Road Construction, drainage, bulk earthworks is highly regarded.Previous TMR or interstate equivalent experience is essential.Drive daily production and ensure all resources are used effectively.Support project quality, WHS and environmental management plansEnsure procedures are implemented to eliminate injury to workers, visitors, the public, as well as to prevent damage to propertyAssist in the project risk assessments as well as workplace and task hazard id, risk assessments and controls (JSA/SWMS)Lead by example in the identification and rectification of hazards, unsafe conditions, and unsafe actsCarry out incident investigations, formal inspections of the workplace and task observationsPlan and direct the work in such a manner that the Project Integrated Management Systems Plan and statutory requirements are met or exceededEnsure that daily pre-start meetings are held in every instanceFacilitate toolbox talks and safety discussions as required and in accordance with project meeting scheduleProcurement of materials to maintain project programMonitor daily work activities to maximise the utilisation of plant and resources including employees.Implement improvements with respect to managing site related costs.Contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture.Provide leadership and encouragement to all workers to ensure that they comply with established safety rules and practice safe work habitsAbility to work away from home on remote projectsGrowing business with exciting career development opportunitiesPersonal growth and advancement opportunities for the right candidate in an industry leading companySignificant training and development opportunities to upskill employeesOngoing mentorship from all levels of the businessCompany vehicle, laptop, and phoneAbout YouDue to the nature of our business applicants must be willing to undertake a pre-employment medical and possess the ability to travel and work in remote locations when required.
