THE ROLEThe Program Manager will be responsible for the development and implementation of a range of project processes and systems whilst adhering to policy and best practice to support the Portfolio's business needs.The Program Manager will work under broad direction, provide leadership and will be instrumental in contributing to project outcomes, to achieve Portfolio priorities.The role has responsibility for one or more assigned projects including leadership and direction to assigned project resources.The role will build strong relationships with the Department's project sponsors, business subject matter experts and suppliers.REQUIREDDemonstrated experience in the management of large and complex IT projects, implementing significant business change and IT solutions.Highly developed communication, interpersonal, negotiation, stakeholder management, engagement and relationships skills, including the ability to work with people at all levels, partner with and influence project managers and executives and produce written reports of a high quality.Strong knowledge and experience in business change management, stakeholder consultation and analysis, financial and resource administration practices, and processes as they pertain to projects, programs, and portfolio, particularly within a government context.Well-developed analytical and conceptual thinking skills and demonstrated ability to gather and interpret information, analyse complex.DESIRABLE SKILLSPrevious experience in IT projects in a government environment.Qualifications in Project or Program Management delivery.To be considered for the role click the 'apply' button.Paxus values diversity and welcomes applications from Indigenous Australians, people from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds and people living with a disability.#J-18808-Ljbffr
