Channel Manager We are seeking a systematic sales and people leader to join our Channel Team under the General Manager of Channel and Design, enhancing our current achievements. As the Channel Manager, you will strategically lead and motivate a team of Account Managers and Channel Coordinators to drive higher sales growth across specific channels. The ideal candidate will possess strong eCommerce and B2B channel management experience, along with an innovative growth mindset, to contribute to New Aim's sales portfolio of key accounts—Australia’s most renowned marketplaces. The Exciting role: Develop and implement channel sales strategies aligned with New Aim's business objectives. Lead and manage a team of Key Account Managers, Account Managers, and Channel Coordinators, regularly reviewing performance and providing insights to senior management. Collaborate with senior management to set sales targets and forecast future performance Oversee daily operations (including product range, pricing, placement, and promotions) and performance of the key accounts, supporting the implementation of best business practice to enhance market share. Analyse channel performance through sales data, identify opportunities, and make data-driven decisions for channel optimisation and growth. Manage channel budgets and ensure efficient resource allocation for positive financial outcomes. Develop and execute channel strategies and daily operations through trustworthy relationships with key stakeholders across supply chain, finance, customer service and categories teams, etc. Establish and maintain strong long-term relationships with channel partners Present regular reports to senior management on channel performance, challenges, trends and growth opportunities Lead innovation projects to improve sales processes and methodologies for improvement and efficiency gains. What You'll Bring: History of retail sales (preferably eCommerce) with a track record that identifies you as a high achiever. Business acumen: Strong understanding of eCommerce/retail market trends, competitive landscape, and industry dynamics related to channel operations. Proven capability in financial planning, budgeting, and resource allocation for channel operations at an organizational level. Proven ability to measure and analyse channel performance by defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), performing detailed data analysis, and identifying areas for improvement. Result-driven strategic thinker, contributing to the development of channel strategies that align with senior management's vision. Proven leadership skills in guiding, motivating, and developing high-performing teams. Strong Channel partner management skills: Managing strategic relationships with key channel partners, negotiating favorable terms, and driving channel growth. Proven collaborative mindset - able to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to align channel strategies and activities. Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving complex issues in channel operations. Project Management (ideally): experience in leading and managing large-scale initiatives Adaptability in navigating changing market conditions, evolving channel strategies, and shifting organisational priorities.
